Hillcrest Knights beat the Blackfoot Broncos 79-38, Friday December 4th.
Scoring 51 points in the first quarter, Hillcrest built up a strong lead straight out of the gate. Tanner Chapel, #10, made a beautiful layup within the first two minutes of the game, giving Hillcrest a head start.
The Knights never let the Broncos get the better of them. Hillcrest was in a consistent lead through all four quarters.
After scoring some foul shots on the Broncos, Hillcrest’s spirits were soaring. During the third quarter, Nash Austin, #13, made a great shot while getting shoved off the court by a Blackfoot competitor. The crowd frenzied as the ball “swished” into the net.
Blackfoot tried to make a comeback after running the time out. The attempt just wasn’t enough. Hillcrest ended strong with a score of 79-38.
